Parking FAQsBefore you arrive.
Everything you need to know about parking with Dad. Don’t see your question? Just ask.
01Getting started
What can I park at Dad’s Parking?
Room for the big stuff — bring what you got. Motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth-wheels and pop-up campers, boats on trailers, utility, cargo and race trailers, plus cars and pickup trucks. Short-term hourly and overnight parking is available too.
What details do I need?
Just the basics: what you’re parking (RV, camper, boat, trailer, car or truck), its overall length including the hitch or tongue, when you’d like to start and roughly how long you’ll need the space. Add your name and a phone number or email so we can confirm.
Can I pick a specific space?
Yes. On the availability map, choose your vehicle type, tap an open space and send a request. We’ll confirm it with you before anything is final.
Will my RV or trailer fit?
Tell us your overall length and we’ll match you to a space that fits. Big rigs and long trailers are exactly what we’re here for.
How much does parking cost?
Monthly parking is $80 for personal vehicles and for boats, RVs and trailers under 30 ft, and $100 for boats, RVs and trailers over 30 ft. Short-term parking is $1 per hour or $10 per night. See rates & parking options.
Do you have short-term or overnight parking?
Yes: $1 per hour or $10 per night. Park centered on one of the numbered short-term signs and scan the QR code on the lot sign to pay.
02Access & payment
How do I arrange access?
Once your space is confirmed and paid, we email you your access details: how to get in, your space number and anything else you need for drop-off and pick-up. When the weekend calls, your rig is ready to roll.
Can I get my camper or boat out for a weekend?
That’s the idea — leave it with Dad till the weekend calls you. We’ll set up how pick-up and return work when we confirm your space.
How do I pay?
After we confirm your space and arrival details, pay online using our payment link or by scanning the QR code on the How It Works page. Your access details are emailed to you after payment.
Is this long-term parking?
Yes. Dad’s Parking is built for long-term parking: month to month, seasonal or year-round. If you need something different, ask and we’ll see what we can do.
03Location & contact
Where are you located?
On Highway 13, just north of Bolivar, Missouri, at 3868 MO-13, Dunnegan, MO 65640. It’s an easy run to Stockton Lake, Pomme de Terre Lake and Lucas Oil Speedway.

04Lot rules & terms
What are the lot rules?
Keep drive lanes, gates and access areas clear. Park safely and leave room for others to maneuver. Do not block another vehicle or park in a way that prevents access. In short-term spaces, park centered on the numbered parking sign. See the full lot rules & terms.
Can you help me park my trailer or RV?
Yes. Not sure where to park, or need help getting your vehicle or trailer situated? Call or text (417) 403-9948 to schedule parking assistance.
Who is responsible if something happens to my vehicle?
You are. Dad’s Parking is private property and you park at your own risk. The owner is not responsible for theft, damage or loss, vehicles and contents are left at the owner’s risk, and minimal security is provided. By parking here, you agree to these terms.
What happens to unpaid or unauthorized vehicles?
Unauthorized or unpaid vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense. If you need to change or extend your parking, get in touch before your time runs out.
05Taking care of your rig
How should I prep my RV or boat for storage?
Good habits: empty and winterize water lines before freezing weather, disconnect or maintain the battery, remove food, cover vents and keep tires properly inflated. For boats, drain water, stabilize fuel and use a fitted cover.
Do I need insurance on my vehicle?
Yes, we recommend it. Dad’s Parking is private property and you park at your own risk: the owner is not responsible for theft, damage or loss, and minimal security is provided. Keep your RV, boat, trailer or vehicle insured while it’s parked with us, and check with your insurance agent about storage coverage.
